a Velociraptor and sibling snow photos

Here in Virginia Beach, snow is a rare happening.
Really, it is a belated Christmas miracle it snowed this year.
so when the heavens do sprinkle snowflakes, us beach bums must take advantage of the  strange  but beautiful fluffy white stuff and go exploring.

yes those are two left handed gloves....

the highlight of our adventure was the Velociraptor print we found. look out Virginia Beach, Reptar might make an appearance
The snow makes everything much prettier, i think.
{till it turns to slush.}
But before it all melts away it is so nice to drink in the serene sight of everything coated in a blanket of white.

and the 2013 Temple Trip tradition begins

Last year my family made a goal to attend the Temple at least once a month for the entire year. We were so persistent and had a perfect record for 2012! (and we also gained some fame for it!)

During the last year, we really gained a better perspective on how sacred our temple trips were. Our family would look forward to that one special Saturday when we would drive up and spend the day at the Washington D.C. Temple.

my amazing parents. they're pretty cute.
This temple is just breathtaking

When 2013 came around we decided to make our monthly Temple trips a family tradition that we would keep the rest of our lives. Best decision ever!
